Terry Tetzlaff Obituary: Beloved Green Bay Resident Passes Away at 64

The Green Bay community is mourning the loss of Terry L. Tetzlaff, who passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on November 13, 1961, in Appleton, Terry was the son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (Schroeder) Tetzlaff.

Terry spent more than 20 years as a dedicated technician at Oneida Nation Casino, earning the respect and friendship of colleagues through his professional commitment and warm personality. Outside of work, Terry was known for his love of cooking, hosting family gatherings, playing sheepshead, camping, and enjoying Friday nights out with friends. His goddaughter, Michele, fondly remembers him for continuing cherished holiday traditions in his honor.

Friends and family recall Terry’s infectious humor, vibrant personality, and the joy he brought to social occasions. He was known for planning lively birthday celebrations and leaving a lasting legacy of friendship across generations.

Terry is survived by siblings Beverly Tetzlaff and Rick Tetzlaff (and Stacy), nieces and nephews Heather (Adam) Risley and son Andrew, Michele (Darrin) Hagerty and children Austin Hagerty and Kollin Martinson, Will (Michelle) Symons, Jr. and son Zechariah David, along with his beloved dogs, Sprocket and Download, numerous cousins, and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Charlotte, sister Audrey (William) Symons, grandparents Ewald and Amanda Tetzlaff, Charles and Ella Schroeder, aunts, uncles, cousins, and several beloved pets including his favorite dog, Rewind.

Visitation will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour on Wednesday, April 8, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at St. John Lutheran Church, 2700 Babcock Road, Green Bay, WI 54313, on Thursday, April 9, at 11:00 am, with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Pastor Josh Fite will officiate, and burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.

Terry requested that his memorial be filled with music, laughter, and fun—a reflection of the lively spirit he shared with everyone around him. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate his life with joy, honoring his generosity, humor, and love.
